A community of practice · Munich + worldwide
Creative journaling, intuition, and the awakening of the senses — a community of practice for the human between transformations. On paper. In person and online.
Insight, calm & direction
You don't need to draw, or to call yourself creative. You need a pen, and the willingness to look.
What sets us apart
A few things you won’t find packaged the same way anywhere else.
Led by artist and educator Kai Lossgott — a man’s voice, brought with care to a field mostly shaped by women.
No apps, no feeds, nothing to optimise. A real pen, a real page, and the slowness that lets something honest arrive.
We don’t hand you a method to follow. We make the room where what you already carry can surface.
Intuition and the senses, not only the thinking mind — the felt sense that grasps a thing before you can name it.
The Institute for Creative Transformation
Creative transformation is what happens when you stop consuming and start making — when honest self-enquiry on the page, held in good company, changes how you see and what you do next.

“It begins with Attention. We follow the felt sense, and let the hand say what the mind can’t yet — on paper, by hand, together.”More from the Unwritten Journal →

Our story
Durban, Munich — places on a map. The distance Infocus really travels is inward: from noise to the felt sense, from needing to know to the courage not to. Founded in 2005 and carried across South Africa and Europe, it has grown into a community of practice for the human between transformations.
Led by Kai Lossgott — a feminist artist and educator, and a man’s voice in a field shaped by women — Infocus rests on one belief: you already hold the answers. We hold the space, the method, and the company to find them. On paper.
